We were all pretty excited, mostly because inclusive fashion was such a rarity.
It still is, let’s be honest. But slowly, we’re making some progress.
Now, Christian Louboutin have continued their efforts to provide fashion for everyone by adding two new shoe styles to their Nudes collection.
Again, these are available in a range of seven different skin tones, because ‘nude’ shouldn’t just mean ‘white skin’.
The two new shoes on offer are the Christeriva and the Cherrysandal.
The Christeriva is a ballet-inspired design (hence the promo photos showing models doing ballet), with a stiletto heel and a ribbon wrap around the ankle.
The Cherrysandal is a chunkier option, with a platform, a thick heel, and a leather ankle strap.
Naturally, they are both quite expensive (the shoes are still Louboutins, after all), with the Christeriva and the Cherrysandal costing $875 and $895, respectively.
If that’s a little too on the pricey side, you can try Kahmune for other nude shoes designed for a range of skin tones. Their shoes are around £250, which, while still expensive, is less than half the price of a Louboutin. Nice.
